As a leader in North Texas for state-of-the-art surgical capabilities, top skill and outstanding outcomes, North Texas Surgical Oncology Associates provides the complete range of cancer, reflux and general surgery care.
Our surgeons bring board-certified surgical expertise together with advanced fellowship training in oncology surgery and a large volume of experience — experience that includes trauma and combat surgery. As a result, we are able today to handle virtually any surgical challenge and achieve excellent outcomes for…
- Cancer – Surgery is the oldest form of cancer treatment, and most cancer patients today still will need surgery of some kind. Whether to remove a tumor or precancerous tissue, facilitate treatment (such as with a chemo-access port) or alleviate discomfort, cancer surgery can be challenging and complex. So it’s important to trust your operation to a surgeon who is both specialty-trained and experienced in this subspecialty.
- General surgery – Together, NTSOA’s surgeons have more than 45 years’ experience performing all sorts of general surgery procedures, from esophagus surgery to hernia repair to gallbladder removal… and everywhere in between. What’s more, they’ve developed uncommon skills — and capabilities — as a result of the challenges inherent in combat/trauma surgery and fellowship cancer-surgery training, two aspects of our surgeons’ shared backgrounds. Today, we meet all general surgery needs with skilled hands, informed minds and truly dedicated hearts.
- Anti-reflux surgery – Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or “reflux,” is much more than heartburn. It is the chronic back-flowing (refluxing) of the stomach’s contents into the esophagus. Besides causing chronic discomfort, reflux can lead to Barrett’s esophagus, a painful, serious condition that can eventually develop into esophageal cancer. At NTSOA, we perform every modern anti-reflux surgery with precision and unsurpassed capability. We’re also the first surgeons in North Texas to offer the state-of-the-art LINX procedure, which offers the highest rates of success.
